Dear friends,
What a month it’s been for collaborations and partnerships, both internationally and close to home.
The new M8 Alliance Summer School will bring young people together across disciplines for different global health perspectives. And our dedicated colleagues at Makerere University in Kampala are bringing the M8 Alliance’s collaborative approach to the World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2020, the first in Africa.
In Berlin, a group of four universities that includes Charité was jointly awarded Germany’s “Excellence” designation in a very competitive selection process. This means joining forces to take on the world’s challenges—including global health, an official topic of the Berlin University Alliance. The universities' international partners, which include Oxford University and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, are also a key part of this success.
The World Health Summit and M8 Alliance have always been based on the idea that we are stronger together, connecting organizations and people to find solutions.
See you at the World Health Summit 2019!
